Gilders Paste is a concentrated wax based pigmentsuitable for use on a variety of surfaces including metal, wood, and baked polymer clay.
It can be used for indoor and outdoor projects from picture frames and jewelry to iron gates.
Apply with brush, sponge, cloth or gloved fingers for different effects. Can be mixed or layered with other Gilders Paste colors.
Dilute with paint thinner, mineral spirits or turpentine. A little goes a long way, a single tin can cover 30 square feet!
For most applications it dries completely in 12 hours. Allow 24 hours before installation or burnishing.
A top coat of water-based acrylic sealer is recommended for best results.
Not suitablefor useby children. Use in well ventilated area and avoid prolonged contact with skin.
